SLJoe Video on Second Life- World Stock Exchange (WSE)
SLJoe, who I find to be a rather interesting avatar, gives his take on this piece about the World Stock Exchange. SLJoe is on his way to do a story and gets caught out with some AVIX people outside the exchange. Sl Joe goes on to relay the action as he interviews the customer representative from the WSE and the avatars from the AVIX, a competing exchange. Interestingly enough his results from the interview and interactions are about on par with what I received- not much. (Variety of posts that reference the WSE.) Although no one threatened to sue me as apparently someone (either a WSE representative or the CEO of the WSE- I am not sure) allegedly did with SL Joe. Smart move on their part…metaphorical baton and all.

I have very little confidence in the World Stock Exchange. You should expect big changes to come in the way the World Stock Exchange works very soon.
I imagine we shall vast changes across all the “virtual exchanges”. An interesting experiment, perhaps too soon, and certainly not enough controls.
How can this even be allowed to operate? The aren’t subject to any existing regulatory laws and agencies (sec, etc)?
This whole service is nothing but a virtual ponzi scheme/scam.
