XML-RPC Ping Services

Reference: Update Services are tools you can use to let other people know you’ve updated a blog.

Most people use Ping-o-Matic (http://pingomatic.com/) and by default it is on for WordPress. (Did I mention I loathe Moveable Type now?). One ping from and Ping-o-Matic hits most of the major services.

What is XML-RPC?

It is a specification AND a set of implementations enabling software running on different O/Ss, in different environments to make procedure calls over the Net.

It’s remote procedure calling using good old HTTP as the transport and XML as the encoding. XML-RPC is designed to be as simple as possible, while allowing complex data structures to be transmitted, processed and returned.

Here is the latest list of XML-RPC Ping Services I have found.
