My latest “thing”. Well I have liked Machinima for quite some time- since the early days of Halo and Rooster Teeth’s Red versus Blue. I seem to recall earlier ones built around Quake but RvB was the first to really break Machinima out of the “underground”. As I understand it when (NASDAQ: MSFT) was designing later versions of Halo they actually built in a movement where the weapon would lower making it much easier for the Rooster Teeth Production Crew to make their pieces.
