Citizen journalism, as well as indy media, is on the move. Bloggers who regurgitate press releases without challenge aren’t good bloggers in my mind. Really good bloggers are moving deep into the stream, in ways journalists often don’t have the luxury of doing. The professional journalist can find a lot of material to fashion into good reporting by following those doing the deep diving and getting the bends.
